Assalamualaikum and Hi.

Doorgifts are things that essential for a wedding. It is a token of appreciation to guests who attended the wedding. Here are the facts you need to know about the doorgifts.

1. After congratulating the bride and feasting on your stomach with delicious food, you are given doorgifts as a token of appreciation for attending the wedding.

2. Traditionally, guests were given boiled eggs wrapped in colorful mesh or paper and eggs are attached to the artificial flower beautifully decorated. This is why it is often called egg flower.

3. The amount is more than sufficient to attendees and more beautiful than the tradition of boiled eggs to give to guests.

4. Currently, there are many gift ideas and we can see the gift in the form of cupcakes, candy, mugs, ornaments, and so on.

5. Prices also vary according to the type of the gift to be given and what is used to wrap the gift.

Therefore, a comprehensive plan is needed to ensure that you will not spend more on things like this. Talk with your partner to make sure your wedding budget is not too high. Do not waste! Be moderate in spending for the wedding.

Assalamualaikum and Hi.

Moving on to wedding dress. This will be the most craziest part of all. Very complicated. Everyone wants a perfect wedding dress. Ladies of course. Guys will not be too fussy and choosy about their attire. You know, guys? *rolling eyes* There are like over hundreds designs to choose and you just can choose two to three. Yeah because no one will have 10 wedding dress. Please keep calm and behave. Haha just kidding. First thing first, you may choose your preference palette of color. I will let you go through the lovely combinations of  these sweet colors.

Peach color has been quite famous and always chosen by brides and grooms because of its sweet and soft color. Peach could be combined with grey, mint, dusty blue and what not. Yes, I know all pictures above are too sweet. However, these are only the ideas and suggestions. You still may choose your wedding dress color and type according to your liking.

Okay now, we have come to the type of wedding dress. There are lots of dress that you can design. You may come with so much ideas or you just can choose based on the current trend. As far as I concern, 'songket' becomes so trending right now. It was famous back then and it becomes again famous nowadays. The touch of 'songket' could highlight the bride and groom. Be it long dress, peplum or kebaya for brides, you will definitely looking gorgeous while putting on it.

Nevertheless, I will not say dress in merely off white not beautiful at all. There are so many dress in white or ivory looking beyond beautiful. Believe me. There are a few designs that could melt anyone's heart. You just ought to wear something that will absolutely look right on you. Don't be too stressed out deciding which wedding dress to design or rent. Alright?

Assalamualaikum and Hi.

Just so you know photography is an art without boundaries yet every photographer has their own skills and trademarks. Therefore, to choose a photographer that suits you and your wedding is not as easy as you choose and buy clothes or handbags. Choosing the right photographer should be focussed on too for you know someday, your greatchildrens will ask "May I see your wedding pictures, granny?" Oh okay, don't get goosebumps.

Here are the tips!

1. You can search online and surf over the photographer’s website / blog / facebook page that are available around/near your place. Today, most photographers will put their best pictures online. You can make some choices for comparison.

2. Identify the style of photos that interests you. Each photographer usually has their own way in shooting and editing pictures.

3. Contact the photographer and ask for the price. It is better if you arrange an appointment and meet the photographer. Why? Because:

  • You should see the end-products (the album) that they offer with the package that you want to choose. Please look at the quality of photo editing, printing and the material of the album is good and worth the amount you are going to pay.
  • To know your photographer. Please stress on meeting the photographer which will cover your event (in case you had made the bookings). This is to  ensure that you will be comfortable with the photographer during your wedding day, and that he/she can interact with you, your partner, and your family as a friend rather than a stranger. This is because during your precious events, photographer/s will always be near you to treasure the best day in your life.

  • You can directly negotiate the best price. During your meetings, you can  mutually agree on the price and the items included within the package. It is a good practice to have a written agreement once everything has been agreed by both parties.

  • To prevent fraud. Today, many people took advantage on other peoples trust. By dealing over the phone, or online, you might end up being cheat by conman. So, always be careful and play safe!

4. Make sure the payment term is safe and fair for you. Avoid paying the entire price of the package before the event.

5. Keep all receipts of payment or bank slip for future reference.

Hopefully this help you bridzellas out there! Happy counting days. Regards :)

There are few types of pomander balls. Some made from fresh and real flowers, some made from crepe papers or tissues. However, the basic of doing it is just the same. Okay, check it out!
